We checked the Swedish Parliament's website and discovered a SHOCKING loophole: security vetting is NOT required for cabinet ministers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the Swedish Security Service handles security vetting, the responsibility for initiating it for ministers falls on the Prime Minister, Ulf Kristersson. It's HIS JOB to ask the Swedish Security Service to perform a security vetting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When pressed, Kristersson's staff referred to the Government Offices and the Swedish Security Service. The Government Offices say security is a matter for the Swedish Security Service. The Swedish Security Service says they are \"very limited\" in what they can say about central government leadership.
