The masks are ripped off. The lies are exposed. After two days of brutal, forensic cross-examination in Geneva, the far-right coalition government of Sweden, led by their contemptible state secretary, Katarina Lundahl, was not merely reviewed; they were roasted, humiliated, and utterly disgraced by the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD).

We, Alternative for Immigrants (AfI), state clearly: this is the end of Sweden’s self-proclaimed moral superiority. Our Swedish government, filled with racist pigs and cowards, now stands condemned on the world stage for its systematic persecution of immigrants and minorities.

The UN’s Verdict: A Government of Far-Right Policy

The most damning indictment came directly from a UN Expert, who asked the Swedish government delegation “how Sweden had come to join the ranks of countries which had a far-right policy on racial discrimination”.

This is not a technical critique; it is a profound international public shaming that directly challenges the country’s self-image as a humanitarian leader and validates the claims that racist rhetoric has been “normalized” and “institutionalized” in Sweden.

Let the shame of that question ring across every municipality and every kitchen table in Sweden. The UN, the ultimate global authority on human rights, has branded the current Swedish regime what we already knew it to be: a disgrace steering a once-proud nation toward fascism.

The key takeaway is that CERD refused to be misled by the Swedish government’s claims of an “overall situation… relatively good”. Instead, they affirmed that Sweden is facing systemic issues, driven by xenophobia, and encouraged the Swedish government to “tackle the root of evil”.

The Power of the UN: CERD’s Mandate Overrules Supreme Courts

To any politician or individual who believes that the findings of CERD are merely a suggestion, look to our neighbor, Norway.
The CERD has the power to overrule national supreme courts. In 2005, the Jewish community of Oslo brought a case to CERD after the Norwegian Supreme Court acquitted the filthy Nazi pig Terje Sjølie, who praised Adolf Hitler and called for a Norway built on National Socialism, citing “free speech”.

CERD stepped in, reversed the Norwegian Supreme Court’s ruling, and found Norway in VIOLATION of international law. This monumental decision affirmed that promoting racial hatred is not protected speech and forced the Norwegian state to drastically change its legal landscape.

This precedent serves as a brutal warning to the Swedish government: CERD’s demands are not negotiable recommendations. They are legally binding obligations, and any attempt to use domestic tre kronor (cents!) law or the racist Tidö Agreement to justify discrimination will be struck down.

A Delegation of Cowards Defending Lies

Who did the Swedish government send to defend their racist agenda? A collection of bureaucrats, led by a political appointee, who were forced to stand there and defend the indefensible:

1. Hate crime impunity : The Swedish delegation, including representatives from the Swedish Police Authority and the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention, was forced to confirm the despicable truth: the clearance rate for reported hate crimes in 2024 is a pathetic 7%. This is not incompetence; this is institutional indifference. The State has given racist thugs a license to terrorize Muslims, Jews, Afro-Swedes, and Sami people, knowing full well the chances of arrest are virtually zero.
2. The racial profiling scam: The UN Experts ripped apart the so-called Tidö Agreement laws, highlighting their use for racial profiling in non-white communities. The Swedish government’s defense of “stop-and-search zones” is nothing more than thinly veiled state-sanctioned harassment, a policy to treat anyone who looks different as a criminal.
3. Failure to act on islamophobia: The Swedish delegation was pressed directly on the lack of effective implementation of the strategy to combat Islamophobia and was forced to acknowledge that discrimination against Muslims is a “problem” in Sweden. This proves they have no real plan, only empty words to cover for the hostile anti-Muslim rhetoric of their racist Tidö coalition partners.
4. The war against the sami people: CERD focused heavily on the targeting and killing of reindeers, direct crimes against the Sami people, and demanded an explanation for why the indigenous community feels they cannot report crimes to the police. The Swedish government’s failure to protect the Sami’s land rights and culture is a national disgrace that has now been exposed internationally.
5. The war on immigrants: The Swedish delegation was forced to confirm its plan to impose a totalitarian surveillance state by forcing state employees to mandatorily report undocumented individuals, ripping away their access to services like healthcare and schooling, and locking them out of citizenship for eight agonizing years. This is the cruel, xenophobic strategy of a government that uses vulnerable people for political gain.

We Salute Our Defenders, We Condemn Our Traitors

We extend our deepest gratitude to Civil Rights Defenders (CRD). Their shadow report was the brutal truth that tore down the Swedish government’s wall of lies. Their bravery is why this Swedish government was publicly dragged through the mud in Geneva.

The truth is simple: the current Swedish government, fueled by the racist bile of the Sweden Democrats, is not fit to govern. They have traded international standing for far-right votes and brought nothing but shame upon our country.
AfI is the only political force dedicated to immediately implementing the UN’s demands. On December 5, when the CERD delivers its final, condemnatory concluding observations, we will use that mandate to fight for a Sweden where racist politicians are expelled from power and the rights of every resident, citizen or non-citizen, is protected from this bigoted regime.

The Swedish government’s shame is absolute. Now, it is time for their downfall.
